Synopsis

"Power's Pain!" Since returning from the dimension of Count Abyss, most of the Watch is being moody and distant, leaving Drax feeling neglected. While brooding on the beach, four of Subterranea's monsters gather around him. Drax's strong emotions allow him to form an empathic link with the creatures and he leaves the island with them as his new "team" to act as heroes to the extent the group's limited intelligence can process. Mole Man wants his pets back and demands the rest of the Infinity Watch head out to retrieve them. Warlock is briefly distracted by a mysterious vision of an ethereal figure begging for help, resulting in the others starting to question his sanity. As Mole Man heads back underground after the meeting, he's suddenly attacked by his old rival, Tyrannus.
